Yep. Just a place to make over $200K as an F/O.
Of course you could do that at many places if you work enough overtime. I agree with FrontSeat. Not got close to 200K. |
Weird, I know delta captains, junior narrow body guys. I made more than they did this year and last. 8year FO, 2 late arrivals and regular line holder. I'm clueless. Tougher to pick up OT at the legacies due to the high block hours they fly, unless you get a few green slips during the summer or do rolling thunder on reserve. Our benefits are where you notice a distinct difference in out of pocket. I was paying close to 500 a month when I left, sure things haven't gotten cheaper in the insurance world. YMMV

I am speaking of just straight pay, guarantee only.
According to APC, the most junior captain is on the MD88. He/She makes 194/hr. at an average of 75 hours pay it is 174,600. You are on 8 year UPS pay and at guarantee only that is: approx 975 hours times 165 = 160,875. Voting NO on the next contract unless the hazards (lithium) and the FQS go away..... |
For sure,. I would like to see a ban on those nasty lithium metal batteries though.
