UPS Hiring in the New Year
 

Interesting conversation with friend of mine in the School House. All recalls by first quarter. 300 or so pilot by 2015. :eek:

Anyone else hearing this? Could be a BS rumor, but he told me it all had to do with initial training emails and new hire class requirement.:confused:

Could be a bad management peak rumor. Just wondering if anyone else has heard this.

Really JUP? Who told "your friend" this? Was it a NURP? If his lips were moving, then it was total BS.

I also heard we're getting the 747-8 and the 777...yeah, right.

Sooner or later the recall rumor will be right, but until we see the furloughees walking through the door at the training center, it isn't true.

Yeah hiring before a contract is ratified, there is a rumor you can believe in! Check your sources, cause they are as clueless this thread!

You can't believe anything until our Bro's are back on property. HIring? I'm all for it, but I don't think it will happen in anything but very small numbers.

What I find interesting is that a number of pilots at UPS that are retiring with little to no notice. Many wanted to stay until age 65 but the current climate have them saying, "enough is enough". The stock market has done well over the past year and I can see this trend increase over the next year . This should tell you something about the company and employee relationship.

when bodies are sitting in front of new hire panels then we can start a post that UPS is hiring.

Until then, the present condition and current status is UPS IS NOT HIRING

Don't perpetuate the rumor. Heard it about 6 weeks ago from a "good guy" 747 NURP, and line MD captain. The NURP is one that people actually like.

Considering how UPS has treated the last 44 guys on the list. Who will apply?

If its true why hasn't UPS come out and officially announced recalls for the first quarter. When they make an official phone call to me, or talk to the Union about it I'll believe it.
Other than that its all Peak Hearsay.
