fdx reserve carryover
If I have rb carryover into Feb and bid a line at the end of the month of Feb, can I choose all of the carryover rdays to disappear and go into makeup? This is what I am reading.
A pilot's current bid period schedule shall take precedence over a subsequent bid period award except as follows:
If a pilot has R-day(s) that carryover into a bid period in which a pilot has a regular line:
any carryover R-days in conflict with a trip shall be dropped, and be eligible for make-up; and
any carryover R-days on which no trip was assigned shall be dropped, and be eligible for make-up, unless the pilot elects to retain those R-day(s) during the Bid Period Processing Conflict Input Window, as provided in Section 25.E.2.e.
Another question, can you retain those rdays and then protect min days off? I am guessing no.

I am almost positive they will automatically be dropped and credited to your MU account. If you want to keep them you have to go to the bid processing option during the conflict window (right now) and put in to keep R days. Just looked it is under bid processing option in VIPS, then phase in adjustment.

yes - all your carry-in R-days will automatically drop & go into your general makeup bank.
you can choose to keep the ones that don't directly conflict with a trip in the new month - or you can just let them automatically drop.
you cannot keep R-days that directly conflict with a trip

Ok, so I was eligible to protect min days off, selected it, and gave two options for trip drops, the conflict input window has been closed, view add opens tomorrow...and nothing has been done, should I be concerned?
Who do I call?

You should have VIPS notification for any drops, as well as see it on your schedule by now.

yes, if you have 13 or more days off then nothing needs to happen since you already meet the CBA min days off for the month.
