I wish my pay stubs were like Lil-J's - then I wouldn't have to pay as much in taxes!

I see your point. We might have paid more in taxes than Lil-J made in income (joint return). But I wouldn't want to admit to being decently paid during contract negotiations. I would think we'd be getting increases in the next contract, with the company being so profitable.

But what is this rumor about an EWR 767 base? This is the first I've heard of it. Is there any validity to it, or just a fantasy (or nightmare, depending on the trips).

767's will be flying EWR-STN but it won't be a base… Gotta keep the senior east coast guys happy with the double-deadheads.

EWR will not be a domicile, because those small critical bases are a thorn in managements side. It will be flown from the MEM large 767 bid pack.
