No one is "authorized" to pay more than what the contract authorizes for the situation. If you know of this actually happening...You need to contact ALPA with details.

Sort of like the Company offering more than what FDA LOA1 offered to get folks to bid HKG. Our Union did nothing to stop that; instead they let the Company do it with impunity and then signed off on a side letter to allow them to continue the practice.

And not to mention at the same time national was grieving Pinnacle's bonus to pilots who referred somebody for employment during their contract negotiations. Go figure.
