Hehe, just put the new Hooters calendar up here 2 days ago!

That's affirmative. If your wife hates it, and you like it---chances are it's in the Frat House.

Just curious as to why A-10 guys call themselves fighter guys and are in Fighter Squadrons. You'll never hear a Navy A-7 or A-6 driver call himself anything but a (Light) Attack or (Medium) Attack pilot, respectively. Just wondering...

Former Navy Fighter/Attack Guy still learning the Air Force Way

It's easily explained, but since you're ex-Navy, you wouldn't understand. Besides, many of us flew "F" series fighters, back when you were a little boy.

Guys who flew that jet could tell you about it, but then, they'd have to kill you.

It's a culture thing. In the Air Force, everybody is in a sqadron. You don't need airplanes to have a squadron. You can have a squadron of dentist or traffic cops. My favorite: The 322nd Tactical Lawn Mowing Squadron.

Not to be confused with the 233rd Strategic Lawn Mowing Squadron...
