Boeing has been studying how to do it for years. To date, there is no approved conversion program. It's a floor strength issue. There are already 777's being scrapped. If they could be converted, they would be.

Find the email address of the CEO running the company you're interested in. Inundate him/her with emails explaining what they ought to be doing. Soon they will recognize your genius and hire you as his/her replacement.

You may have to start out as VP or something, but that's only until you learn the names around the office.

Maybe this has been brought up in previous threads, but I didn't see it.

Why is the company allowed to put a -1 on some categories, but not all of them? For example, IND767 and EUR757 are protected. People have displaced into those categories, but nobody was excessed from those categories.

As PC said, this is an excess bid, not a vacancy bid. So why are they by default filling vacancies?

All 767 & 757 seats are available for the excess. IND 767 FO will go pretty junior too. It's the fleets they want to grow, so yes they kinda are filling un-declared vacancies

My guess is they r hoping to minimize the need for a vacancy bid (besides HKG) by funneling excessed guys into the seats that would've had a vacancy

This is just the first shuffle of the deck. The follow on vacancy bid will fix everything and get all the Aces in their hand!

No, the follow-on vacancy bid will not "fix" anything. Talk to the junior pioneers currently in Hong Kong who will be frozen out.
