I ordered some shirts almost a month ago. Here's the email response I got almost two weeks ago:

"We have production back up issues stemming from a damaged fabric shipment received several months ago, but we are running full speed now and hope to catch up quickly. I will forward this request to the factory, and you will hear from them, or me within a few days.

Thanks for the order and sorry for the inconvenience."

Like I said.....ordered a little over a month ago with no shirts as of today.

Pants are great too.

Got a contact number? How easy was it to expense?

No-brainer to expense. Just used company card and did as normal on expense report website. I know the owner had a meeting with fedex mgt a while back about becoming one of our official vendors. Went well but don't know what came of it.

+1 for A Cut Above. Love the shirts. The tropo material is very nice. The options of 3 different cuts is great and the collars are the best. Someone mentioned they had the pants. I tried the pants about 2 years ago and the colors weren't a match. Are the "New UAL Midnight Blue" pants a good match for us at FedEx? I'd love to give them a go...

I ordered shirts back in April or May. Still haven't received them. Called them on Thursday. He said he'd check into it and email me back. Haven't received an email yet. They did say they were backed up, but 7 months? I've always ordered shirts from them but may have to change now.

Default back order as well

I ordered some shirts from Landerwood last December. I did not receive them until four months afterward. As is mentioned earlier, customer service is always courteous, but I still think that their production issues are an indicator of something larger behind the scenes. I have switched to a cut above as well. Just be sure that when you order you don't order the one's that have the little rectangle for wings on the shirt, I accidentally missed that one.

Landerwood shirt quality went way South. I have been a customer for 14 years and even returned to them an old yellowed one with along the new one that would not press smooth in the button hole section. Seems they used a thread that was made of a different material than the surrounding fabric and thus it shrank at a different rate. The fabric buckled around the stitching as a result. The old yellow one was still perfect. Very frustrating

Default Not a Happy Customer

Can we order pants through "cut above" and expense them? I'm not a fan of the VF Solutions pants and I don't get to HK often, so I can't get pants done there. I've found that the Landerwood shirts lately (last two years) have been sub-standard; the material sucks.....very thick and rough (STS) and it took almost 6 months to get them. Good thread "Active Herk" .............very useful.

I'm going to try A Cut Above shirt. I put a pen on my pocket in my current shirt and want to continue doing that, but I'm unsure of the open pocket vs the Velcro closed pocket at A Cut Above. Comments on either type of pocket? (Guess what I'm concerned about is the Velcro on the pocket closure. Is it a clean look, silly, etc--I just have never thought if Velcro on a shirt pocket.)

Also, it says there is a foam spacer in the collar. I would think this would fall apart under washing? Anyone with experience reference that?
