Was just told, unless someone prefers to rent a car, just uber or taxi it to a hotel near the HQ. Taxi to HQ works good too. Total taxi costs around $80. Found lots of good hotel options on Expedia. Company people friendly. No surprises.
Would be great if you share feedback on class dates and future plans. Atlas influencing (or about to freeze) hiring at all yet???

Sources say Atlas wants Southern to keep hiring for both aircraft. Interviews are scheduled and classes are planned. There is a training backlog due to one 737 delayed coming out of heavy check and the 2 aircraft planned to be here at first of year are delayed.

Sounds quite reasonable. Hoping for full speed ahead.

March class canceled. 40 people swimming in the pool. Will continue interviewing at a slow pace. Atlas plans to drag things out contract wise as long as possible (like 18+ months). 737 air frames are still being sourced with no new news. The other two 777's from LAN are in limbo with this merger. The people working on the latest LAN bird have been reassigned other tasks in the office.

I interviewed beginning of Feb, and pretty much the same story. They're hiring into a pool. No class dates planned at this time.

I stayed near the airport and took an Uber to/from the interview.

How was attrition for Feb? I thought you guys were running a little lean on the 777 staffing?... Are the two 777 still in their heavy checks?
