If I have a carryover trip worth 31 hours in the month I begin ITU, do I get paid the extra 31 hours on top of BLG or just straight BLG regardless of how much I work?

Thanks..

If you work it you get paid, otherwise no.

You get paid your BLG as I outlined above. The carryover portion CHs go into your makeup bank.

Raptor, the carryover trip is from the previous month and at the beginning of the month I begin training. ITU for me starts at the end of the month.

I don't know for certain, but I would think you get paid for carryover in addition to your BLG. That's assuming there's no carry in conflict that kills a trip to reduce your BLG.

If you do have a CIC, I would still bid as much as I could under the training footprint. Then look at your bid period processing summary closely. You wouldn't want to add any trip you didn't have to that would make you work more for no more pay. Remember you have a "free" 12 CH training conflict pay when you kill some flying or reserve day under the training footprint.

Again if you work the C/O you will get paid for it. If trips are dropped because you protect min days off or have a conflict and don't add CIC you will only get paid for your C/O and whatever your "new" BLG is for the month.
