FedEx Sim instructor question

Considering a way into Fedex as a Sim instructor. My understanding is that after 3 years your guaranteed an interview. Any feedback about the pay, schedule and positive and negative would be very helpful.
Thanks

From what I have heard:

When interviewing for the sim instructor positions, you now do the pilot interview at the same time. If given the opportunity, when your 3 years is up, you move to the line. You retain your years of service for retirement I believe, however you start at the bottom of the seniority list.

Does anyone know the pay rate for those three years?
What year pay do you start out at when you move to the line?
Any first hand feedback about schedules and/or commuting?

The above is correct, you retain your longivety for retirement, however your longivety for vacation starts all over at zero when you go to the line.

You start at first year pay when you go to the line.....

2nd year pay is probably equal to or more than you made as a pro sim guy...

Past...

Can you commute as a pro sim guy?

I have a bud who did this, he is now flying on the line. His word of caution was, the course why put you through is for upgrading FO to capt's...guys who have been flying on the line for a number of years...so if you screw it up it may stop any chances to move to the line in the future.

Nice avatar GBU-24.

BTW, that's why you see some "classes" of one, two, or three guys. They're pro sim guys, at least that's what I've been told.
