More freighters for Amazon? | Cargo Facts
Note: On 17 March 2017, Amazon told Cargo Facts: “There is no truth to either of these rumors.”
Only time will tell if Amazon brings Prime Air in-house, and if they do, how quickly and how large their total airframe number grows...

Same for me, I was completely beaten by those monsters. I begged for mercy and told her I wouldn't press charges if she would go reverse cowgirl, reluctantly she did. The depression sent me into an eating binge. Then as a result my career plunged and here I sit at ATI. My self esteem is still in the gutter that I could be thought of as just a big lovable sex toy. It's just a rumor though.
An awful one, spread it around !!!!

Well to be fare they were calling him crazy for saying Amazon would be the largest Parcel Delviery airline inside two years. It's been about that and they don't even have all the aircraft on property and they would be lucky to match 1/10 of what UPS or FDX do.
So yea the assumption that Prime Air would smoke UPS and FDX in two years was certainly some crack pot claim.

I very well know the issues of staffing. However, if Atlas/Southern/ABX etc. gets a decent contract, I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the idea. Keep in mind that Bezos has made his intentions clear about getting in bed with DHL and already has in some respects. DHL does more deliveries internationally than UPS and FedEx combined. As for the US, DHL pales in comparison to either one. Nevertheless, DHL does have an established US network. Combine that with dominance in international, then yes, it is quite plausible.....even without the crackpot factor.

Amazon is just gunna dump the lucrative freight business Atlanta/ATi already has to fly online retail lift? If so, that is definitely out of the box thinking.

I could possibly see some of the ACMI carriers merging. Amazon going in house? Very doubtful.
Lord, I don't want to start this rumor, example only. Lets say AAWW/ATSG merged due to a buyout thats believable. One ACMI would virtually own the market for a decade. One of the ATI guys I believe posted something similar months ago. Thought it was silly but after some thought maybe not.
