Lightbulb Super Bowl commericals

Saw "The Game" in HKG with ESPN's international feed, so missed the (US) commercials. Just viewed the two FedEx commercials on CBS.com. Does anyone else think they failed to hit the funny bone?? I liked the first Doritos commercial, can't be bothered to view any others. Great game if you are a Indy fan, think Grossmen needs to check the help wanted ads, I think he'll be unemployed soon.

Overall, the commercials were weak compared to past Super Bowls. I liked the rock/paper/scissors one by Bud and thought that Bud had the best in general.

I thought the one that started with a KFed rap video then cuts to show him daydreaming as the boss yells ..."Federline...where are those fries???...life comes at you fast - better plan ahead"......was the best one. Couldn't tell you who the company was, though.

And THAT makes it a bad commercial.

That was a KFed commercial? I thought that was JetJok daydreaming he was somebody? Anyway, for the sake of the flying public, I'm glad to see he's found a job flipping burgers!

I thought it was cool that Garmin had a commercial. It was pretty lame, but interesting that an avionics manufacturer shelled out the cash a superbowl slot.

The only two that were worthy to me were the rock, paper, scissors Bud commercial and the one that Federline was in, don't remember the company though. I was bummed that Geico didn't come up with a new caveman commercial.

Default Nationwide

The Federline Commercial was an ad for Nationwide Annuities.

I personally liked the Tundra trucks because it actually featured the product and was "real" -- no camera tricks, no photoshop, no digital enhancements etc. It was interesting to see what the trucks could do -- reminded me of children playing with an erector set outdoors

Also, the Oprah/David Letterman was extremely funny (for those of you who follow pop culture......)

And the white dog/spotted dirty dog budweiser ad was great.

Best one of all time, IMHO, was the Air Jordan/Hare Jordan commercial with Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny.

He actually apologized to fast food workers in a statement a couple days prior to the commercial! Gotta appreciate a guy that can make fun and laugh at himself!
