and what gift would that be? I've been at AAWW going on 10 years, I worked for one of the ATSG airlines before that. I don't believe I've ever received any sort of gift. Quite the opposite actually.

Haha...that's quite funny. The only gifting going on is Flynn and his mob serving us up on a platter to Bezos. Spit roasted with an apple in our mouths. If you can...get out while the going is good.

I've flown boxes for both DHL and Amazon. They're two very different companies in how they operate! But who knows what will happen long term...

Amazon may use Atlas but they won't buy Atlas. For one thing Atlas is mostly a 747 operation and Amazon does not need the volume but they sure need the lift and there are a lot more economical airplanes than the whale. For another Amazon is famous for negotiating very low margins for their carriers. Here at purple the margins are quite low and are reported as such so why should Amazon exposed themselves to a high leveraged operation when they can use sheer volume to negotiate costs down?
I do find it interesting that Amazon hitched their wagon to Atlas for a bunch of 767's that Atlas does not own.

As for treating his employees like scum, that might be a quantum improvement for some of us.
