My point was, don't get political, the political flavor in the White House won't make any difference for pilots trying to get released..

We do not work in a political vacuum. Here is an example from recent history of how this works:

About a year after he got into office, he let one big one happen (Spirit). That was enough to send the message for the rest of his time in office.
And many of the rest of the unionized carriers have seen massive pay increases in the seven years since the Spirit strike.

Plus it was Obama'$ administration that stuck it to ups and FedEx with a carve out. ...Nobody in Washington is looking after American labor...Big business and lip service that's why I never Vote for either side.

..there's always more to the story. ..and no, neither party can claim to have been supportive of the pilot profession.. All of these happened under a democratic administration..
American Airlines Resuming Service After Clinton Stops Strike
Federal judge bans pilot strike at Las Vegas-based airline.
Aviation groups sue Obama admin over Norwegian Air decision
UPS pilots urge more rest for cargo crews

It is not political to state the obvious. The current Republican administration has now appointed two Republicans to the three member NMB (Kyle Fortson and Gerald Fauth III). And this most certainly will set the tone going forward.

Was a response by Cujo665 deleted? I received an email directing me to his/her reply but can't find it?
Not sure why it'd be deleted? (maybe it's my browser but the link takes me to a blank page?)
It's not political, those are facts which apply to both sides of the political divide. I hope the political correctness nonsense doesn't preclude logical arguments in this discussion?
This is the email I saw:
Wasn't it Carter that pushed through deregulation?
Wasn't it Obama that expanded the import/export bank's ability to fund foreign carriers who compete against our own?
Wasn't it Obama that did nothing to prevent NAI from operating into the US? Now it's much harder to block them since they've now hired countless US citizens and created countless new jobs here in the US?
The NMB has always been a tool to roadblock service disruptions. That won't change as the result of one election.
