How did you find out about the open spot? I called OAI and they said to check the Calendly website, but I can't seem to locate it.

There was only one open slot, sorry. I assume someone cancelled which is why it opened up. I have a feeling they will start opening up November interviews soon though.

How easy is it to get more days off using vacation days? Is there GDOS?

We have 4 GDOs per year. Not sure about vacation. I haven’t used/don’t use it. Others will be able to share experience with that.

Curious, how do people seem to know when the application window is open? Is there a setting to receive “alerts”?

I don't believe so. However, in the last they have notified current employees that the window is about to open, and that typically gets disseminated here.

I interviewed last September and was put in the pool for next 767 FO class. Here we are in March and no update. Anyone know if there is any news of a next FO class for the 767? thanks

I don't have a hard number for you, but they did run a class at the beginning of February. They're slowly working their way through what I presume to be a massive IOE backlog. The person who just got junior manned to VH was an August hire, which should mean that everyone hired after that is still waiting to complete.

They put the FO’s on hold to rush through the street Captains. Just had two FO’s doing their observations two weeks ago. They were going back to the sim for expired landings after the observation flights. It’s way backed up. They put on new ground instructors in December and just appointed two more sim guys too. Hopefully they can start knocking down the backlog.
