Folks,
Did an interview on the phone with this company. It was supposed to be for a Captain slot, next day they told me they are short of FO and offered me that. 18/12 first year pay is around 60,000 plus a 25,000 bonus. Its livable.
But i didn't know these guys used to be the horror story known as Dynamic. Apparently now Eastern is owned by Swift.
I have been an expat for over a decade and just wanting to come back. Sure, the pay cut would be huge, but i am willing to do it. What i am NOT willing to do is fly POS planes, with crap MX, bad MGMT, etc.
Any insight would be surely appreciated.

Swift doesn’t own it. It is it’s own entity. Swift and dynamic/Eastern share a common owner. Now they just won’t let the eastern name die.
They’ve gone through some pretty difficult financial situations. About a year ago or more they cut every employees salary in half. Don’t know too much about their current stability. I know they’re doing a lot of sub flying for Swift since they don’t have the lift or personnel.

My friend’s dad was hired on with Dynamic on the 767. He loved flying for them and still enjoys it now that’s it’s Eastern. Heard Swift will Eastern will merge, but that’s just rumors.
