Merger or buyout

Merge it with Biscayne or a sale of some sort. Dump the classics, FANS2 the entire 800 fleet, get a decent pain scheme, clean up the remaining fleet, MX AND cleaning the aircraft, and be ready for the next uptick, Xtra will be looking for aircraft as will Big Country. Take advantage of the break. The small charter airlines will probably survive as either way, people will go see sports again, the military will travel AND affinity charters will become en vgoue.

My two cents.

Wow looks like I picked a busy couple weeks to go on vacation
after reading this it looks like I lost my raise and my job and the company is going out of business

But then I looked at my paycheck today and saw that I got my raise I still have work to do and the whole damn world is semi shut down

Does anyone know if the guys volunteering for the corona flights were given toilet paper

Go to the mirror and look at it - if you get repulsed it’s you man.

They will. The entire world economy is in survival mode. Sunwing, Compass are dead. Norwegian, KLM, DL, JB, BA and Ryan Air are or will be reduced to maybe 10-20% of what they were 4 weeks ago. Miami Air has all their 737-800 parked. If you're not in the freighter business today, then you can expect the worse in the next few weeks. Save some money, if you can, stay home with your families, hunker down. This will click back on again in a few months..

I don't see a return to how things were till the holiday season and early next year. Restaurants and bars yeah, those will click back on in a few weeks, people are going to want to go out and have entertainment. But nobody is going to want to travel much for a bit. And even then, at least for scheduled 121 that depends so much on business travel, will business travel come back? Or will companies see more value and safety in doing more meetings online or investing in corporate aircraft for travel. Swift's business will come back, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone else owns us by then

They told me I was the Chief Pilot as well. There are a lot of people who aren't employed and have too much time on their hands in this thread trying to play couch analyst with inaccurate information or a lack of knowledge on the market. They spend their valuable time actively wishing a company would go under and costing many people their jobs. Not just one person or two people, but hundreds of people. These same people could be doing something positive with their time but its not who they are at their core. I don't wish anyone would lose their jobs. But I guess that is just society today. Everyone wants to focus on the negative and then wonder why they aren't happy.

I will keep sipping that tea and take the high road every time people try to bait me via a troll post. I won't give those users the attention they are craving.

Some people who read and post actually do have experience, know and understand the market. Some people who read and post actually know who is who and what is what. Some people who read and post are not just line pilots, who are fed what management decides to throw at them. Some people who read and post actually know who you are, have witnessed your not so stellar career (like landing on the wrong runway in SFB). You of all people should be ashamed of the way you have mistreated your colleagues. Why did you join the forum exactly? Most of us did it because we were looking for a job. How about you?
