You know, this is actually a great question. If people come on here and say, "this place sucks, management are A holes, everyone is miserable then who knows.

However, if you have factual information that pilots are being left stranded, chief pilot smoking in the cockpit, mechanics being verbally abused, no 401k, only 8 days off a month, etc then I guess you can make your own mind up.

If it does suck that bad, may be it could be offset by living in base? We all know commuting blows sausage. May be its worth it?

Do us and favor and post what you find out from the will ya? It seems that from the posts on here they improve slightly every year. Some updated information would be helpful.

I was contacted back in Dec. But blew them off hoping things would get better in my current position.

Alas, thing have not improved, so i am now on the prowl for a better gig.

Interviewed last year, offered the job. During the interview, they pretty much talked me out of working there. As the class date approached, a friend who was doing IOE there finished talking me out of it.

To lure you in, they will tell you you will get a hotel room, per dime and expenses. The truth is if you live within 100 miles, no hotel room. If you do get a room, plan on moving every week. My friend had to st y in hotels as far away as Florida City and Homestead. A year later, has not received a penny in per idem or mileage reimbursement. On day one everyone has to go to the police department and have their prints taken. You lay out the fee and expense it. Nobody from his class was reimbursed.

When you begin IOE, they let you know that you have to pay for your own parking at the airport.

Did I mention no pay in training?


Interviewer told me that if I came here, I would hate my friend for recommending me. He also told me that their job was to protect the pilots from the owners.

Not offering any opinions or advice, just relaying the facts from my experience.

How long before they start hiring the illegal aliens onboard their flights to act as ground staff and save a few $? :eek:

They did that in a previous life when they had subservice contract with a Venezuelan airline. Perhaps some former Falcon Air Express pilots can chime in on this one.

Post 32 contains a letter from the managers. Very embarrassing conditions from very crappy people. When has a bottom feeder ever changed their spots?

I understand the predicament of being unemployed.
Things can deteriorate to the point that one starts considering jobs like this one...
There is no judgment from my part for someone who needs work so desperately.
Please understand however, that you risk your career on every flight, when flying for these kind of outfits, especially Falcon.
They will leave you out to dry with the Feds and self disclose, before you even get to base! Even their procedures are written with that in mind.
The principal behind these type of "operations" is to have the crews be responsible for everything.
When sh!t happens, you are always the one to take the hit, while they get a fine, an audit and rewrite the procedures...
They thrive on keeping crews hostage, when they cannot get another job.
I have known good experienced pilots who wished they had never worked for such scvmb@gs and took them years to get to a real airline.
The owners are Venezuelans, and not even Venezuelan pilots would work for them.

After two months of trying to recruit pilots in Job Fairs and classified ads. They were only able to hire six an only four showed up to class on the 7th. After the third day one walked leaving three. Lets see how many finish IOE? Draw your own conclusion.
