I have. I know. My apologies for thinking you were just talking about the pilots, since 50% of World's current fleet is cargo. Please allow me to correct myself: The World pilots and flight attendants could BOTH work for free and World still couldn't pull through with the amount of debt they still have and the pathetic business plan the parasites continue to preach as legitimate meanwhile setting it up to get a few more million out of it at the expensive of the employees.

Unfortunately, these are very much the same feelings we had at Ryan as we watch the inept owners drive it in to the ground. They paid out hundreds of thousands in bonuses to themselves and upper management, and clearly siphoned out $13 mil in the year leading up to bankruptcy. And then, just last week the trustee filed a motion in the ch13 court that he had uncovered nearly $100 mil in hidden withdrawals and payouts in the year prior. Of course we all wish they would face criminal charges, but I'm sure they won't. The game is rigged for big business, the sooner we all figure that out the better off we would be.

I hope World fares better than Ryan did, but like I said, it sounds like a very similar pattern is emerging. We finally had to stop giving concessions when they knocked on our door every 2 weeks, otherwise you are just giving them more money to have on the other side of the shut down, I urge World pilots to do the same.

Things are better job wise, so there is life after World, I had a Wolrd guy in my class at Spirit. It's never fun starting over, for me it was after 17 years, but it gets better. And there is some relief working for a company that is financially solid. I wish you all the best however it plays out.

I am also a former ATA Captain, if Maitlin-Paterson shows up on the property start looking for a new job. They will rape and pillage your airline and move on to the next victim. They have no soul and they will be held accountable one day for their actions. I hope that I am there to see their faces.
