Default Info on FlightWorks & Aerodynamics, Inc.

Anyone have info on Atlanta based (at Kennesaw Cobb County field) Flightworks.com or FlyADI.com (Aerodynamics, Inc.)?

Apparently FlightWorks in Atlanta purchased Aerodynamics, Inc from Waterford, MI when it had financial difficulties.

If anyone has personal experience, or can share experience from a friend, for either FlyADI or FlightWorks, I'd love to hear it. Thank you.

Was interviewed/drug tested/offer letter/ready to set up travel (twice). Actually I interviewed at say 3pm on a Friday and was on the road for the drug test by 4 with a planned ground school on Monday; they were moving fast. Was told in Jan/13 that flights are right around the corner. Was told in Feb/13 that flights are right around the corner. Was told in Mar/13 that flights are right around the corner. You get the picture.....

They really were trying to move fast as ADI in PTK went bust in Nov/12 and by mid-Dec/12 they already had the ball rolling in Georgia.

This is what I was told the "plan" was at first.

Retain the EMB pilots from the first flyADI and run a 121 supp (the new owners had purchased the 121 and 135 certificates) operation with two EMB145s but it was going to be marketed more as an corporate operation. Once back up and running, they also wanted to get an A320 (the first ADI flew an A319 for Dow Chemical out of MBS on a 125 certificate, so the A320 didn't seem that far out there and seemed probable to me). Then there was also hints at ETOPS for the A320 too. I think their name was floated as a possible airline for a re-attempted flyGuam thing (could be wrong since I gave up remembering/caring after April-May).

The next time I really talked with someone was a few months later (can't recall which month) but the first flights were still around the corner and they were now also going to use the 135 certificate for a Gulfstream or something.

Haven't heard a peep since. Still have the offer letter in the stack of papers on my desk but I've moved on. Back in Jan/13 they advertised on the orange site as a "confidential" 121 airline and said something like "more information will be given after you send in a resume."

Not sure if they've flown yet or even doing any type of FAA proving runs. Seemed like nice people though.

Hope this helps

Pretty much goes along with what I was thinking and how I've been handled thus far. Thank you for chiming in.
