I received an email back from the CP a few days ago to expect an interview in July on the next round they have going. Anyone got insight on pay?

The hiring came from the front office and the training department. They said around 80 pilots at least (around 30 have already started since they started hiring). Also there is a rumor of more planes by the end of the year. 19 total plane 4 777s and 15 767s; not sue I would believe this one! We currently have 2 777s and 9 767s. Omni as always believed in slow steady growth. I think this is a lot quicker than I would expect of them. Who knows I'm not in the front office. They have upgraded 20 FOs to Captain since the beginning of May.

I guess anything is possible in this crazy industry. OAI might have trouble finding pilots however. I have a very good source that indicates that UPS is doubling their fleet in the next 24 months and will be hiring 350 pilots per month starting August 1st. Good luck everyone!

Now that's a good rumor! My apologies, pero muy dificil de creer.

350/month?

That's logistically impossible. Maybe you meant to say 350/year? That's a bit more manageable.

When I was there...we heard 1 more 777 every month..then they downgraded and furloughed! Good luck..enjoyed my time there..well most of it ;)

This doesn't even qualify as a rumor. Good thing it's so ridiculous that it will give anyone with 1/2 a brain a good laugh.

Post quoted info such a a UPS Vacancy bid and maybe we'll revisit the plausible!!!

Where are some of the standard, if that's even possible, routes or places y'all go to? I see on flightaware quite a few las-hnl runs, but that's all I've seen. Maybe has to do with when I'm looking at it!

I don't work there anymore but the LAS-HNL route is daily. That's staffed by LAS based pilots and there are pros and cons to that. The home based pilots are often in Shannon Ireland, Kuwait City, Bishkek Kyrgistan, Atlanta, Dallas, Baltimore, Ramstein, and a few others. On and off there is a 767 in Seattle doing runs to Japan as well. I also see airplanes in HNL on military charters often.
