saw this. . . I wish they had a better product to offer the pilots and the passengers... All the pilots I know that worked there WANTED to stay and make it work. But that was not to be the case.

I was one. I enjoyed it there, enjoyed the coworkers, and enjoyed the flying. The pay, while good at the time, has become sub-par. The insurance is overly expensive. The schedules are still non existent in a timely fashion. Changing the training pay to nothing but the lump sum at the end of training was a monumentally bad idea.

I like the company, the owners, and most of management. There is a small handful of people wrecking the place... and convincing the owners of that isn’t easy.

Via has suspended a majority of its flights...

good luck

Have the utmost respect for the pilot group of this company and I wish them the best and I'm sure they all have bright futures. But after reading this, the management of this company deserve this setback, and now they can start polishing there resumes to go somewhere else. Karma guys, karma!

Via's management were cheap scumbags. Nobody wants to work for cheap scumbags.

Not always. It was very good there not that long ago. It looks to have nose dived with the DO change.

This is what we as a pilot group predicted when I worked there 2-3 years ago. Have to take care of your employees or they won’t stick around.

Rumor has it the 135 crews have been furloughed

Hearing that Via has shut down. I have a friend who was in sims training in Houston with them and they were all just sent home today and told the company is done.
