Remain Regional CA vs ACMI FO
#12
Stay put. I went from regional to ACMI to legacy. Starting out on year 1 pay twice is financially devastating. Most ACMI outfits are on the whole no better than regionals as far as pay/QOL issues are concerned. Since you drive to work the home-basing they offer isn't a selling point (not if the price you pay is ultra-long trips, as is usually the case.) I'm fairly certain heavy international time is not as impressive as more TPIC or check airman time.
You'll have plenty of time to fly heavies around the word when you get that legacy job.
Volunteer. Get a checkairman/management job.
Focus on that.

I've 'heard' for what is worth, FedEx loves all the extra stuff you are doing/considering and around 6000 total time for a Civilian is about the target time.

I personally came from a Regional to an ACMI-
Very few of my RJ' CA buddies were getting called by the legacies, and even less to fed or ups.
However, it seems like a daily occurrence our pilots are Leaving for ups, fed, delta.
There are masses of RJ drivers vying to get out- maybe they will maybe they won't- id personally rather be a CA on the 400 or 76, join the train dept, become a check airman, drive to work, or have a paid ticket - etc etc. then stuck a regional
Having the foregoing on ones resume, certainly doesn't deduct "points".

The one thing that stood out when I read your first post is the 900 TPIC. Can't speak for the legacy's but Fedex mins are 1000 TPIC. At least hang around and get that before leaving for (more) SIC time.
As the others said, I'd work on improving your resume where your at, unless you really have an itch for the type of flying that the ACMI's can fill.

My ACMI has lost 50 pilots in the last year and a half. Most go to UPS, FedEx, Atlas and a bunch recently got on the Amazon Prime bandwagon. Widebody upgrade is just short of 3 years.

UPS requirement used to be 1000 multi TPIC. Didn't matter Tprop or Jet. Now that requirement is gone. Not sure at other airlines.
