Now that Mesa is parking the CRJ's and intends to replace them with Ejets...how many Ejets would be theoretically available for this scenario to play out? Would there be enough for it to make "cents" for C5 to add to the fleet?

Apparently there was an email that came from someone at United that went to the wrong recipient that C5 and Mesa are supposed to merge Q1 of 2024...

Stop the spread of BS rumors lmao. You came up with that yourself, and it's a poor rumor to spread.

You didn't hear anything....and if you did, you doubled down on the stupidity posting it here thinking people would give it any merit.

United regionals don't merge; there's no benefit. If it were to happen, one would go out of business and its assets would all be acquired by the other one. Then the pilots, flight attendants, and mechanics are elibleto be rehired by the surviving carrier at entry-level pay, saving United money. That's the only way it would go down, just ask Trans States and ExpressJet

In today's market, the pilots would probably get 1:1 longevity toward pay scale. Seniority would still be bottom of the list.
