The flight attendants need their own company call. That was ridiculous

The best part of the whole call-

RT after answering 30 minutes of FA questions...

RT: "are there any pilots on the call.... ?"

....30 SECONDS OF SILENCE ......

FA: "just to follow up, I had a question about...."

So it's now required to start and review the wsi app in the cockpit before each flight. Why? No onboard data signal = *useless* "The most currently available weather data must be reviewed as part of the pre-flight planning process." Yet they don't give us a way to get that data on the app in the first place.

Anyone ever get the gladiator thumbs down and then have the drop removed from your schedule anyway ?

Useless is right! The company suggests that we sync it at the hotel (uh, no) or in the crew room. Sorry, hotel didn’t have any WiFi and no crew room in SLC. Don’t even dare mention the boingo hot spots. If they want me to open the app I’ll open it, stare at expired/missing information, and then close it. Pro tip: provide data enabled iPads. Even horizon has them in the Q.

And so it begins. Crib pay, anyone? LAX captains, I’m looking at you...
