Who's going to Sunny?
 

Curious to know how many FO's or Captains are moving forward with their CJOs @ Sun Country.

Seems to me it'd be an easy move for FO's as a stepnup and to the right with pay increase/another type. Captains...little more to decide...

If you're going, or not, what have you heard (Pros & Cons) and what class date are you targeting?

Friend of mine is interviewing shortly but has some other interviews coming up this fall that would be optimal

Pros: it’s not a regional / 737 type


Cons: contract/pay/not commuter friendly /training contract / very unhappy pilot group

Thanks - Ive confirmed with the chief pilot they have eliminated the training contract....all other 'cons' are spot on.

Strongly considering the move as an FO - would suck to commute though..

TPIC. By a long shot.

If you are an FO living in LAX I would strongly advise against going to Sunny.

TPIC no doubt...especially if you don't have to commute.

737? Only if your primary goal is SWA.

They're "talking" about opening other bases and already starting trips out of Vegas/Portland.

A gambler would like to think the commute doesnt last long....

Any insight on the latest from our MEC and more top tier interviews? Havnt heard much.

Latest I heard from the grapevine was that the MEC guys are trying to leave as well. It could be bad info but that’s what I’ve heard.
