Sad times for sure. Just hoping everyone lands on their feet. I’ll miss this forum. Wondering how long until APC removes it...

They should just retire it.. Put us out of our misery lol

Thinking a period of mourning is appropriate
It will be gone soon enough |
Please tell me the memes won't go with it.

Talk to okc
Hulas still has to follow PRIA |
It will be a really sad day when this page dissolves and all our history just floats away into the abyss, only to be found in Search. When it does we should create a ‘Compass Airlines’ thread in the Other page.

WTF is wrong with the world when GofnJet is the sole standing TSH airline. For as depressing as that purchase was back in (2011??) I never would've believed it, not for a cool million.

There is more wrong with this world we live in than there is right with it. The sooner you accept that fact, the easier it becomes to swallow it all. Cheers |
GoJet and and SkyWest will merge. Will be called SkyJet. DL will buy us new MRJs and we will operate as a wholly owned for AA. Daily flights between Cleveland and Moscow. Single pilot. The Russians will buy us out and sell us back to DL and we will all have DL seniority numbers.
You heard it here first. |

All United ever cared about was completion, not quality. Gojet had new desirable RJs, cheap costs, they had Rick leach on speed dial. |

I don’t know if I would say their -700s were new... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
The CRJ 550s? They arent new, they are reconfigured & repainted 700s that are leased from SkyWest. Just search the tail numbers. I didnt know until someone pointed it out and I asked around.

Multiple sources saying that 50 seaters will likely not survive at the UAX level, and even OO stating they don’t expect 55 200’s to be renewed. Crazy how just 2 months ago they were pulling 200’s out of the desert.

You would have to imagine that for every "adjustment" made to a contract, the partner will have to give something up that SkyWest wants. UA wants out of the 3 year 200 deal? sure, but they have to give X years of flying on some other airplane type one of their other WO operators or partner are doing. Purely a guess of course, but SkyWest don't do somethin' for nuthin'! |

I am just paraphrasing, but Chip said they are offering partners the opportunity to adjust contracts during this out of good will and the company are being flexible for them to do so.

Really thankful I just don't have to fly these planes anymore. Horn was spelled with a 0 and I couldn't get over it. |

I checked the memory frequencies on the MCDU one time and it stated something like “Have you noticed the horn is spelled with a 0”. Mind was blown for the rest of the leg.

Followed by angry looks from rampers. Especially when it turns out you just had ramp off the whole time. |
