Yup you are. Until PBS is running crew planning makes the lines. So you will fly with the same CA the entire month.

Line 1 is ok if you dont mind doing msp-yvr turn 7:30 flight time per day. Did it once and my rear was blue.

I LOVE line 137. 12 days off all CDO to LSE and OMA total flight time for the month 26 hours

those 31 hour layover in BOS are ok but dont want to do it more than once a month. I HATE 5 day trips

My start date got changed from the 18th to the 11th. Some body could not make it on the 11th so they called me. I have never worked with lines like that. That could be good or really bad!!! Do the FA lines run like that too? I have not looked at them yet.

If you mean are they the same as our lines....pretty much. There are a few times were there might be a slight change for somereason but for the most part it is the same crew all month. The FA's can pick up a lot more time than we can though. I know several who regularly credit in the 120 range.

For those that keep asking, "How many pilots are there?"

Well, I don't know if it is the answer you are looking for but there were 129 pilots on the bid list for February that have actually made it out of the system. I know, I know, there are quite a few tied up in training as well but this gives an idea of how many line qualified guys we have out there right now.

A buddy of mine who is pilot ~150ish just passed his LOE. Since we've been running classes of 6 every week, I gotta think at or beyond 200 at this point.

The contract requires that the seniority list be updated and posted only once a quarter.

I spoke with a friend that is currenty in Montreal and his class was told they were gonna be the last class starting there till mid March. I would assume it is because of the recurrent bubble approaching and lack of sim spots. But that is just a guess. His seniority is 155-160 I think. I also know I seen several people post that they have had there class dates postponed from Dec to Jan then to Feb/march.

If I had to guess there are 170 or so that have at least done the one day in MSP. And maybe another 10-15 that have class dates but have started nothing.

All of the #'s are just guesses.(we as usual have not seen an updated pilot seniority list in quite some time) So take the info as you wish.

I am up in YUL now. The most junior guy in my class is #150, and there are 2 classes of 6 behind us. The word up here is that they are going to be starting a new class every other Friday for the rest of the year.

The Friday start date is when you get your home study materials. You return home that evening and don’t come back to the classroom for a month.

recurrent

You know I didn't think about the large number of us about to go through recurrent. I leave in about a week to go back to YUL for that. I'm sure that could slow things down up there as they try to get those classes of 12 from last summer through.
I will be glad to get it behind me. I have to say it screwed up my line pretty bad. I tried to bid where it wouldn't touch a trip but didn't work. I guess I should be happy I got the extra time off but I really wanted the $$$ instead.
