Compass TSA Gojet.... Bueller?

Well I just got the footage of the most recent round of negotiations. RZ had enough talk about scope and job protection so he started it all off with a sweet jump kick.

How?? They already won a lawsuit about a single carrier petition. If the company doesnt want it there is no way to force it.
We can propose merging the list in exchange for a terrible contract(think freedom/mesa) or in exchange for a very long extended contract(think american eagle)

Look at TSA and Gojet, one is worse than the other, not only has management created a hostile environment between them and the pilots, but between the two pilot groups themselves. Divide and conquer. you think it won't trickle over to the Compass side? Management will keep things "competitive".
And actually, most pilot groups that have fought against separate lists, have good contracts, although they aren't perfect. Mesa is obviously an exception but they still have some of the best scope language anywhere.

If these are your concerns, then I don't think you understand the threat of whipsaw. Nothing else matters if you have a whipsaw situation between competing certificates.

Quite honestly I'm not sure integrating with scabby gojeters does anything for the unity of the group...assuming we're trying to be united in anything other than taking it up the pooper without the common courtesy of a reach-around.

They say scope is important this time but not a lot of specifics about whats to be done about it. The problem is that the damage has already been done. One alter ego and another bought company which there's nothing in our contract about pilot lists..
