All my friends that have been hired at Delta said they made it clear that hours isn’t the only thing they are looking for. They don’t want just experience pilots because to them everyone at the airline level can fly Whether you have 1500 hours or 6000 hours. It may seem unfair but that’s just the way the cookie crumbles and it’s their company. So complain all you want either you fall in line and fit what they want or you go elsewhere. Great news for me yesterday I got the call to Delta and I hope I’m successful at the interview so I can move on and create a slot for someone else below me. Maybe instead of talking down a former coworker you should’ve done like me and him ask for advice. He’s a nice guy and regardless of how he looks he’s an overachiever especially at his age whether you want to admit it or not. I listened to the kids advice a few months ago and it seemed to work. Whether it was his advice or not something got me a call. I’m not a female or minority either since you wanted to put ‘obvious facets’ in the equation just thought I’d let you know. |

Those guys are full of ****. Tell them to ask Barry Holmes, he wrote the emails explaining the process. There are emails from Barry Holmes and JD Olsen that outline the process. Tell them on those forums they are mis informed. Again Barry Holmes wrote the emails containing the process. Shows how disconnected the pilots at Delta are. Or Barry now wants to go back on his words... Also the reason for the date cutoff is because the awesome recruiting department at Compass stopped keeping track of the grades on the test. Just pass or fail. Only recruiting to blame. Glad to be out of that place. |

The end is definitely near,an entire conference call where the shortcomings of CS and IOCC font size wasn't mentioned...the RAH stuff was quickly diverted to our performance type babble too.

I appreciated the RAH question but of course they'll never tell us until it's too late for us. But if we want to dive into this conspiracy BG and crew didn't laugh like they do when Skywest or Envoy is brought up so maybe RAH rumor is true! I can read you like a book BG.
