It's not like scheduling needs to have your ACTUAL phone number that everyone else uses.

im pretty sure he brings his phone. Why wouldn’t he? Because of scheduling? That’s kind of a nuclear option. If you are on a trip there is no reason you have to answer or return a call. So who cares if the call?

Wow, more planning buffoonery. We did just add 40 to the list for August, but still, we barely just got out of the wild west of JAs for FOs. Now we got that for CAs, except CAs are harder to pin down because we know the rules a little better than new hires.

Btw gents, watch out for JAs this ***Sunday***. Tons of OT, doubt we have the reserves for that.

What if, and I hope not, they already know something about losing airframes and drawing down staffing... Is the writing on the wall?

Better note I heard a UA flying rumor out of IAD so that would be cool.

They just brought 40 online this last vacancy. Classes are full until September. My guess is that they don’t want a training back log and having to send guys home with pay for weeks. Just a guess.

DL birds are going into heavy checks this fall as well so there will be some slight drawbacks in flying from that as well. Doesn’t mean the plane is leaving cpz!

Upgrade mins

Any chance of the upgrade mins changing? Currently set at 1500 multi or 2500 total, obviously 1000 121.

if they start feeling short on captains, might they go to 1000 121? Looks like I might be sitting on an upgrade for months waiting to hit 1500mel/2500tt. (Thanks cpz for flying me 30 hours a month on reserve for a year).

Asking because apparently piedmont had the same upgrade mins as us and they’ve dropped it to 1000 121

Referencing the CBA: “The Company will meet and confer with the MEC Chairman before waiving any of the above upgrade requirements. If waived, such requirements shall be waived in Seniority order”

It is only 1000 121 already.......... I didn't have 1500 multi when I upgraded.

WHAT? Explain? Looking at the CBA:

c. two thousand five hundred (2,500) hours total pilot
time, including one thousand (1,000) hours multi-
engine; or
d. two thousand (2,000) hours total pilot time, including one thousand five hundred (1,500) hours multi-engine;
Doesn’t that mean you basically need either 2500tt or 1500me?

I mean I hope I’m wrong here

I mean if it's in there it's in there. That's what I thought it was.
