I was wondering if anyone has a rough idea how long the Compass hiring process takes from filling out the application to a an email or phone call (approximately).

 

How about asking this in the Compass Thread.

 

For what, about the twentieth time?

 

About 4 to 5 years, give or take?...

How about answering the question?

 

2 months, and a few days from indoc to your checkride (LOE). Including the 2 week homestudy. 7 weeks after the homestudy Im pretty sure. This is assuming they dont have any pauses for sim availability etc. IOE may start anytime after that.

 

Here is my experience:

Filled out the app. Got an email 3 hrs later to call to setup a phone interview. Setup the phone interview for 3 days later. Did the phone interview which is basically verifying all your app info. They offered me my choice of interview dates at the end of the phone interview for any time in the following 3 weeks. Went to the interview and they offered me the job at the end of it. At that time they said the earliest class date they had was 7 weeks out.
Training footprint is, first day of class you go to MSP for one day orientation and get all your books, iPad, ID etc.
We went home for 2 weeks to do CBTs. (which is barely enough time to do them). I heard recently that they are planning to give 3 or 4 weeks to do CBTs, not sure what the current class is getting.
When you come back, 4 weeks of ground school with IPTs. Then my class had about a week off, then we went to sims. Sims were about 2 weeks. Then you do IOE. some people have a break before IOE some don't. Figure about 2.5 months from orientation day.

 

How about putting in a little effort and find the answer yourself. FFS, it's been asked multiple times

 

The first e-mail is automatic. Outside of that e-mail there isn't a set timeline. First make sure you meet all of the criteria and click Compare my app. Make sure you meet all of their search criteria otherwise they can't see your app without searching for it directly.

Some people received phone calls shortly after applying and others never received any word. If you happen to know anyone at Compass have them send a recommendation email.
