Not corporate, but a possibility: Grande Aviation.

I used to work for Anderson News & Media many moons ago, PM for details. Might be worth it to walk in and introduce yourself, good luck!

Is Chris Whittle still a going concern in Knoxville? I happened to be in town about 30 years ago when they unveiled the new Whittle Communications Building.
Whittle was a big deal in Knoxville and in the media world. Most of the slick full color medical magazines you'd see in doctors waiting rooms were Whittle products. I gather Whittle Comm fortunes turned south in the 90's. Whittle turned his focus to Charter schools from media. But I suspect whatever he's up to, there's plenty of funding for aviation. Last I heard, his educational endeavors had gone worldwide, including China. Might be worth some exploring.

Whittle hasn't done much around Knoxville in years, at least enough to generate publicity. As far as aviation goes, nothing going on at TYS involving Whittle.

The old (and large) Whittle building downtown has been sold and used for government office space.
