Yes, I did send him my resume. He had a funky email address that I had to google, only to find out its mostly related to Switzerland.

Didn’t seem fishy, they knew pilot stuff. No questions for any personal info.

"They?" I only spoke to one person and he was quite knowledgeable about aviation and my previous HKG company.

And how many businesses use funky email addresses?

Guys, do your due diligence before handing over PII to someone you know nothing about. A good scammer knows how to play his targets.

The email address wasn’t “funky”.
It just wasn’t @google or @xcompany.
It was @protonmail, which is a known secure email provider.
A perfectly legitimate provider, and one I wouldn’t be surprised used for this.

Proton mail is free, anyone can sign up for it. I have a proton mail account. Just FYI
