Hi all,
With margins tightening across the sector, I’m noticing operators are relying more heavily on third-party industry intel - operational trackers, reputation databases etc. One thing that interests me is how little we sometimes know about how these services are funded or governed.
Looking in to a recent story from Blacklist Aero, which positions itself as a compliance database, but from closer reading, looks like an extortion racket. The owner has a shady background and no one seems to know where the funding for specific cases comes from.
Has anyone come across this? Transparency is a major issue in our industry from my experience.
