Fantastic job with good leadership. Quality of life is great with the job and personal needs both taken into account by department managers. Nice equipment and maintenance is first class as are all of the people in the department. If you were to get hired you could equate it to winning the lottery!

In my opinion it's one of the two best jobs in aviation, however I am a little biased.

I think 99.9% of people here can understand what I am implying, not much hope for the other .1% I'm afraid. :D

No significant hiring until the line starts hiring as that is where the majority of people that choose to leave go. And that is largely dependent on how many opt to make the move. Turnover is very low unless the line is hiring.

Do people tend to leave the corporate job to go to the line, or do people leave the line to fly for corporate?

From what I understand it is now 2 completely separate career paths - with no movement opportunities from one to the other. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
