Logbook Question
I am in a position to intern with a company who flies an MU-2. Obviously they are pressurized and would require a high altitude endoresment to log PIC. Can I still log Total/Multi/Turbine, with NO PIC??? Is this legal?? Obviously the other guy is an MEI....so it would also be dual received. I should know this being a CFI...however 61.31 is a little confusing. Can anyone help me out??

If they have their MEI you should be able to log it as PIC/Dual received assuming you have your Multi. Think of it like you are instructing a student in an Arrow. They log it as PIC (because they are rated in single engine airplanes) and they still log time under the "Complex" column if they want. You can't ACT as PIC, but in this case I would think you can LOG PIC.
If i'm wrong someone please correct me...

Thanks for the response.....I keep hearing what you said from others....but then what is 61.31 all about??? I know multi students log total time and multi engine...but NO PIC until after the checkride when they are rated. Same is true with Inst. students. If you log actual NO PIC until after the checkride. Is this a catch in the FAR's or should I just not worry and log it??

But at the same time, I wouldn't log a large amount of time (50 hours or so?) that way. Logging dual when you're not really being instructed is iffy at best.
My $.02.

True, I know American Eagle will accept only 25-50 hours logged in this way or by sharing block multi-time.
