Lear FO pay
A jet management/charter company in my neck of the woods is looking for a Lear 45 FO. Just curious what the average income is for a a spot like that.

Do you have any jet time? If you do and your typed I'd say 45-60k. If your have jet time not typed I'd say 30-40k. If no jet time I'd say 25k.

1200-1500hrs jet time. Haven't added up the logbook in awhile I'm working on it now. I'd do it for $55k+. I'll stay at my regional till then.

I got hired on a Citation X which isnt too much bigger for 55,000 with no jet time just a butt load of 121 turboprop time. So you never know!

I'm surprised that there is such a disparity in pay tied to your experience level. Is that fairly standard among the corporate side of aviation? I mean it is good to see that people are getting paid for their experience finally; I guess I just expected a Lear pilot to be making more than $25K period. USMCFLYR |

My first Hawker F/O job paid $24K/yr. I was low time with a little turboprop mixed in. After 6 months I was bumped up to $35K.
What are you considering low time? Hey - a $10K a year raise after 6 month is pretty good :) How are things now? Oh....and how did you come about that job? USMCFLYR |
Flight time is a relative thing. At that point I was around 1100 TT. But that job has since come and gone.
I've been really lucky in finding my jobs. Mostly I throw my resume around and talk to everyone. |

Same here. I'm always on the look out.
