Need GIV Limitations / Memory Items
#2
Your school (FSI?) will probably send you a disk with the stuff once the training is confirmed & deposit paid. Try to get a read on what the "real" limits are. FSI handed me a 21 page doc of limits, but later the instructors narrowed that down by at least half. I think there is a website with some of this stuff for several airplanes. Try digging back into the older threads and I think you'll find it. Good luck in class.

Assuming the limitations listed on that website are correct, that's more than you'll need to know for the systems test at the end of initial ground school. FSI (assuming that's where you'll be headed) will give you the limitations on day one. If it's anything close to what they gave me for GV initial a month ago, it has now been condensed to 5 pages rather than 21. If you're coming to Savannah we'll be glad to have you. Best of Luck.

That is a great website! I love early Lear's. Never flew one but always loved them. I saw a Lear 25 go out of BOS the other night. He was off the ground in about 3,000 feet and I think leveling at 8,000 by the time he reached the end of the runway. Most impressive. The Captain and I just sat there in awe watching him go.
