Thanks for the info! FWIW, I have heard people say negative things about both pay and QOL flying for Wal-Mart. It's all hearsay and I have no solid evidence. I'm just repeating something I have previously read on other forums.

I hate to regurgitate unfounded info, but do they make their pilots share rooms on the road like the execs do? I know its part of their corporate culture but certainley they give the pilots a break since they are on the road so much. Otherwise seems like a very stable place to work and I've heard Arkansas is beautiful.

I've had many friends who flew for WallyWorld and no, they do not share rooms. Pay is good, QOL is good, bennies are good, cost of living is low in Bentonville. I've never heard a single one of the 14 or 15 Wal-Mart pilots I have known over the years complain. You just have to be willing to live in the top left corner of Arkansas. Of course, being able to buy a 2500 sq.ft. house with 4 or 5 bedrooms and 3 baths may ease the pain if you're coming from a Metro area....

I knew several Walmart pilots and all of them have told me they have very little RON. Most trips are out early home by late afternoon. and few weekends. Dont even have to worry about catering except water.

Okay, I have to ask...What does the acronym RON stand for?

Furthermore, what are realstic times that would be considered competitive?

Most of the negative that you hear about Wal-Mart Aviation is several years old and outdated -- a lot of internet myth very little of which is based in reality.
