Default Any G200's out there?

Hey guys,

I'm just curious if anyone knows of any G200 jobs out there? I just went through G200 type school in November, only to get laid off in February. (strange that they spent $35,000 for the type only to let me go )

This board has been a great resource for me in the past.

Thanks,

Thumbs down Sorry to hear you got laid off.

I'm really sorry to hear you got laid off. I have heard a lot lately about people getting cut almost right out of training. Its makes me wonder why would they send someone to training drop 35k on someone and then let them go a little bit later.

35k in sev pay wouldn't be bad. With all the money these folks have you would think they have for sight, but that's a whole other topic. Then again you can't complain about them typing you.

Did you manage to get any PIC time in the G200?

If you can I would look into acass or other foreign contract opps. I haven't heard of any on the domestic side.

The good news is you're current until next winter.

Best of luck.

Wasn't there a posting for a G200 job in HOU recently? Not sure how legit it was, but check the older pages.

If you can lift your arms above your waist, it's not too late for dental school

Good luck,

Z

What part of the country do you call home?

It was a G150 job in HOU that was posted last month. I replied to it but never heard anything.

Haha, probably should have, my father-in-law is an orthodontist and offered my the business 8 years ago when I got married but I didn't really have any desire to work in people's mouths. Maybe it's not too late

I'm in SW Florida right now but I was born in Idaho and I've been looking to get back to the West for a few years now. I'll move anywhere, kids are too young to be in school so we're pretty open for a couple more years.

7 whole hours of PIC haha. If you include my training, I was paid $7500 per flight hour and I was never away from home over night (other than the type), eat that FedEx
