Any of you guys know the cost to land a Hawker 800 at Malaga (AGP) and monthly cost of hanger or apron space.

If you have never operated a private flight internationally, you should consult with a contracting firm that can take care of all of your needs. Some services that they provide include but are not limited to:

1. Flight Plans
2. Fuel released
3. Landing permites
4. Over-flight permits
6. NAT-TRACK arrangements if you can make it non stop from let's
say Gander to Shannon
7. Parking arrangements in Malaga
8. Special Insurance

Two companys that come to mind that provide such services are Universal, and Base-Ops.

It may cost money, but its an investment well made. After all, the last thing you need is to be grounded because of incorrect paper work. That definitely would not impress the Boss.

Hi Bob- I've been thru Malaga a number of times for crew changes / tech stops. It's NOT a cheap place to operate. (Iberia has a monopoly there, all the ground equipment is theirs) I called our handling folks, they guesstimate that a landing fee for a Hawker is $800.00 USD. As for other other fees we have paid: Lav service cost us $750.00. It's also 200 to $300. for parking on the ramp. Euro Control will bill you for ATC services, it's fairly expensive. As for your other post asking about leasing etc there are a number of choices. You can always charter and avoid the hassle of ownership, but there are drawbacks as well. Netjets has an operation in Europe; you can go the fractional ownership route. There are also companies such as Jet Aviation or TAG that will manage an aircraft for you- they provide the crews, maintenance etc and will charter the aircraft when you are not using it if you want the revenue.
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Dan

You can get 12 HANGERS for a dollar at Wal-Mart. However, HANGAR space will cost quite a bit more. REDWAVE
