I love the corp side, I have been part 91 for two years now and before that I had a 135 gig for 10 or so years.

Thanks Ziggy and CE650. I will check out HIO. Just curious, what company do you work for and how can I get on there?

CFI to Corporate Pilot?

10 clams an hour is pretty low, agreed. The Airline is the next logical step for a CFI. I don't think you're going to land a corporate gig coming from a 172. ( But I hope you do) But do something soon, because I don't think companies like to see thousands of hours going around the patch. And, which corporate pilots on here don't load bags?? What? You stand back and let the linemen get your boss's luggage smelling like jet fuel? (no offense to linemen)

Your right, the typical next step would be the regionals. But it is possible to find a private gig flying either a King Air or mid-size jet. Those you have to look hard for and are usually privately managed by the captain. This is were face to face time and knocking on hangars is really valuable. Also the line guys and FBO gals could have lots of info about airplanes based at the field.
Just be prepared to do whatever it takes, wash and wax, detail the interior, and even fueling the A/C from the self-serve pump. In the end it will be valuable experience for you in the 91 world.

I'll take a look at you , first go get 3000 hrs and get yourself a citation type of some sort and then get rid of this entitlement attitude.

If I have the 3000 hours, but no type or entitlement attitude - can I get a look too???? :o

(O.K. folks, the sarcasm switch is on...try to laugh!)

Sure! Apply with us NOW!!!!

First, I will need to see your NATA/Safety 1st./PLST Certification; and I need to know how much you can bench press and how many successive pull-ups you can do.

We only hire well qualified and buff pilots to dump the biffie and load bags.

Your flight time, education, work experience, customer service skillsets, problem solving abilities, ability to collaborate with others, professional memberships, military service, etc. do not matter.

No type ratings, just a modest amount self absorption required!
