Default PC 12 models

Can some one enlighten me on the differences between a PC12, a PC12/45 and a PC12/47?

Increase in maximum weights. If I recall the 45 is for 4500kg.

Straight PC-12 had a lower gross weight than the PC-12/45. The /45 stands for 4500 Kilos. The /47 jumps up to 4740 K for MGW. Also with the /47, they lightened up the roll response which was heavy for a light plane. The /47E has a boost in engine power as well as Honneywell Apex cockpit. The cruise increases a bit for the /47E (also called the NG for Next Generation) as well.

The cabin is pretty much the same for all models. 6 seats standard, with an option to add 2 more in the corporate configuration. Some of the older ones had a 3 seat bench in the back, but haven't seen that in quite a while. In typical configuration, they all have a forward lav. The cargo door in the back is on all models.

The original 1994 PC-12 Series 1 (started with serial number 101) had a max gross weight of 9040 lbs. With serial number 141 (1996) Pilatus offered an optional gross weight increase to 9920 lbs (4500 kg) creating the PC-12/45 Series 2. With serial number 181 (1998), this gross weight increase became standard with the Series 5. The lighter aileron feel came with Series 10 (2001) (serial number 401). The PC-12/47 came in 2006 somewhere around serial number 694. the /47 increases max gross weight to 10,450 lbs (4740 kg).

Although the list is a little dated now, specific details on the Series 1-10 can be found here:
