CATERPILLAR Flight Department

Hiring a co-pilot. Great flight department and the chief pilot is a great guy.

Straight from the CP himself:

2000 total time minimum (the more ME time the better), ATP, Turbine experience is nice, 4 year degree preferred, 1st class medical and at least 2 years serving as a pilot with FAA part 121, 135, or corporate flight department.

I suspect somewhere between $75 - $80. Not sure - cost of living in KPIA is cheap!

Along with United Technologies and Procter & Gamble, CAT is suppose to be one of the best flight departments around.

Good equipment too, 3 CL604s (if I'm not mistaken)

I concur with everything Irish is saying. Great place to work and they always get a huge pile of applications when hiring. In addition to the 604s, it sounds like they are getting a larger Bombardier aircraft early next year.

Anyone hear from them yet?

Great company.

But very cyclical...

Not THAT cyclical; they are doing a ton of business overseas, especially in the growing BRIC countries. Which is why they fly large-cabin business jets...
