Is corporate aviation entitled to sharing training records as airlines are?
Obviously training records go airline to airline. But can they go airline to corporate or vice-versa?
Better yet, who will win the OSU-Michigan game?
Thanks

Yes, corporate (part 91) operators are required to share pilot records. However, since the regulatory oversight for such records is rather lack (as opposed to part 135 and 121 operations), the quality and quantity of these records with vary greatly from company to company. The following is taken from the FAA website:
If you want more info about PRIA (and the scope of the program), there's quite a bit of information about it on the FAA website:

Take a look at the topics under overview. The FAQ's should answer most questions about PRIA requests/checks.

A 14 CFR part 91 operator who receives a request for records under the authority of PRIA, is also required to provide any records that they may have accumulated concerning the pilot/applicant during the 5-year period preceding the date of the individual’s employment application. It is understood that in these cases, there may not be specific or significant records to be furnished.

i cant understand any off that FAA site mumbo jumbo. but i have my own question that was brought up with a few other pilots the other day. With my IOE records, does the new company requesting those get EVERYTHING including the chicken scratch written by some of the IOE instructors or do they just get form that says, IOE completed succesfully.
my reasoning is, there were several instances of one instructor exaggerating and writing down some trivial stuff with multiple pilots that makes us just sounds like idiots during IOE. he had quite a bit of an ego and like making it known on paper as well as in person
