I was just curious why I keep seeing the same job postings by the same companies, month in and month out? Companies such as Mass Mutual and Liberty Mutual out of KBED are constantly looking for drivers. Are these companies growing their fleets, or do they completely suck to work for?
Even Harley Davidson is once again looking for a Cl-30 Captain. I posted this position some months ago on APC, and received the "my buddy got that job" reply. Well, either your buddy quit, or they need another driver, as it's posted again.
I did receive a tbnt letter from Cabelas, but at least I received a reply.

Because every website out there poaches the job openings from another and reposts them, even if they are long expired.
A large percentage of the openings you see are not real openings, and additional are narrow openings of the application window to satisfy HR for an internal hire or promotion.
As you likely know, relying on the internet for job searching is not a sound strategy, as message board info is often inaccurate. Its only as good as the poster....:-)

If you look at the companies you mentioned, they probably pay nbaa average part 91 pay (130k-140 for part 91 large cabin captain northeast job) + a higher of b.s. + worse schedule. Those guys either go to a job like noecorporate has (the higher end of nbaa) or maybe to an airline (especially in these times) or they switch to another company thinking they'll get a little more of one of those parameters.
Per the numbers, those jobs are better than 99% of 135 or regional jobs.
Nowcorporate also mentions that not all those postings are not legit. 100% true.

Where do you find the postings for flight departments such as Cabela's, Bass Pro, Harley? I am dying to get back into the corporate side of aviation but don't seem to find too much out there...I typically use climbto350.com, but are there others?

I have previously seen all of these companies post positions on major job boards such as indeed.com, especially Harley. However, as has been mentioned before, sometimes this is just a formality/requirement on the HR side of the company. Many times there is a candidate already in mind to hire.

Gvinflight -
I'm in the process of looking and actively seeking another corporate job - just can't stand living in Detroit anymore so I've been perusing websites such as simplyhired.com, indeed.com, and jsfirm.com.
Every now and again I'll hop on Pro Pilot World and Climbto350 to see.
I got sick of the Asia 74- postings on 350 and have been pretty impressed with the amount of jobs that have been offered on job sites that are not to specific to aviation.
Then again too I'd suggest searching "Aircraft Pilot" as opposed to "Pilot" unless you really are looking for a barge job on the Mississippi.
