Default Current Gulfstream GIV pilot pay

Hello guys,

I was hoping that I could get some guidance on what a 2 year First officer should be getting paid on a GIV that flies a good amount of international trips. I have already looked at the NBAA figures from 2012, however it seems that it is pretty far off what the current industry is paying. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Yeah the NBAA salary survey is a pipedream.

Shouldn't be. There is a reason that number exists.

If you really think it's a pipedream, you may want to rethink your employer. It's pretty accurate for the larger markets. if you're flying a 30 year old King Air 90 out of southwest Kansas, your pay is probably going to be a bit lower than listed.

It most certainly is not.

However, the larger the number of people who think it is a pipe dream... the better the chances of it becoming one.

Don't work for free, folks!

I've used the NBAA Salary Survey data for pay raise discussions with my employer every year for the past five, with good success.
