Airports are busier than a few weeks ago, according to my calibrated eyeball.

Yes, anecdotal evidence but CLT was pretty active on Friday, almost every table in the food court was occupied and the rockers were full of non crew members, maybe we’ve hit the bottom.

Yup. Its called...wait for it...summer. Enough people will go out to start to pump some life back into this economy.

Also, keeping in line with the positivity and not wanting to start the dreaded thread drift, if you or your significant other isn't that great at cooking, go out when things open back up. Just use it as an excuse to say "Hey honey, your cooking is fine, but we're doing this for America." :D

Glad to hear the positivity in the sea of negativity. I’m still preparing to get “F’ed” but hoping for the best.

I already have been: I've been in upgrade training at my regional since mid-March, and we just did a system bid that has me going back to the right seat as of June 1st. Here's to hoping that the recovery is far swifter than my management thinks it will be.

Any idea when the Europe flying is going to open up again? As things progress I suspect US carriers will be able to pick up some transatlantic market share as they have been capitalized by the Govt, unlike the Euro carriers who havent been capitalized. In short they will be better postured should this scenario play out.

I'll happily eat my words. Looks like Sunday was the highest since the start of the month at 126k!

Delta has been flying to AMS for several weeks.

Call me an optimist, but in the last few days at the major airports I’m in and out of often I’ve seen a noticeable uptick in PAX not only on my flights but in the airport in general. This was easy to see considering the near nothing loads I’ve been accustomed too for the last month. Anyone else see the same?

Tend to agree, also states are starting to open up again.

Passenger's negative comments on airlines flights are a positive. They are starting to complain that airlines are not doing 'Social Distancing' because the flights are too full to do that..Great news!!
